How to take a screenshot with your iPhone
Posted on 06. Oct, 2008 by Marc in Mac, iPhone
Warning: This blog may become a bit iPhone befok… :)
UPDATE: This also works on the iPod Touch
Earlier today I wanted to send a friend a screenshot of a screen of one of the applications I had showed them. So I JFGI and came across this:
Taking iPhone Screenshots
- Navigate the iPhone to the screen you want to create an image of
- While holding the Home button, press and release the Sleep/Wake button. Your screen will flash and make a camera shutter sound, letting you know that the screen shot was taken

- Navigate to your Camera Roll library (Photos) on your iPhone. The most recent image should be the screen capture you just created
- You will then be able to download the screen that you captured the next time you sync your iPhone with your PC or Mac
