Warning: This blog may become a bit iPhone befok… :)

UPDATE: This also works on the iPod Touch

Earlier today I wanted to send a friend a screenshot of a screen of one of the applications I had showed them. So I JFGI and came across this:

Taking iPhone Screenshots

  1. Navigate the iPhone to the screen you want to create an image of
  2. While holding the Home button, press and release the Sleep/Wake button. Your screen will flash and make a camera shutter sound, letting you know that the screen shot was taken

  3. Navigate to your Camera Roll library (Photos) on your iPhone. The most recent image should be the screen capture you just created
  4. You will then be able to download the screen that you captured the next time you sync your iPhone with your PC or Mac
