CellC CEO Lars Reichelt announced a new product earlier this evening, from CellC, called MyTools, at a SiliconCape event in Cape Town.
The new product (currently in Public Beta) looks really awesome, and allows you manage your mobile services, real-time from the CellC website. From the MyTools site, you can “Record Special Voicemails” for different contacts, Get access to your call history (instantly) as well as Block unwanted calls. I know the last one will go down like a house on fire for some people.
To get a better idea of the new service, check out this video from CellC, which explains the service in a bit more detail.

I think this is a huge leap forward in the South African mobile industry, and I hope MTN & Vodacom will follow suit with similar products.
Well done CellC !
