It’s been a few months since we wrapped up the iPhoneography 2013 exhibitions in Cape Town and Joburg. The response we had in 2013, was way beyond everyone’s expectations, and, well, to be honest, blown away by the response to both the entries and exhibitions.
If I have to be honest, because of the enormity of the 2013 exhibition, my stress levels were way to high, and I even had doubts whether 2014 was actually a good idea. But, thanks to some rubber-arm twisting, and the fantastic team at iStore, 2014 is a go again this year. YAY!
The guys at iStore have put together an incredible plan for this years exhibition, and I honestly can’t wait to be a part of this. This is the 4th year we will be hosting the exhibitions and I can tell this year is going to blow your mind away!!!
Entries have officially opened, and ANYONE can enter. So, if you have ever taken a photo on your iPhone, you can enter. Simple as that. My “mantra” behind the exhibitions has always been to open it to everyone. It’s not about being professional, or being the best, it’s just awesome to see the variety out there. This year we have an all new Judges panel with a wide range of interests.
So, entries are open until the 1st August on http://www.iPhoneographySA.co.za and you can enter up to 5 images taken on an iPhone. Once again, iStore have offered up some pretty rad prizes, like a MacBook Air for the winner, and iPad Minis for the category winners. Check out the Entry Guidelines for all the info
Exhibitions will once again be held in Joburg & Cape Town (Sorry Durbs :( ) and the official dates of the exhibitions will be released soon!
I can’t wait to see how iPhoneography 2014 is going to pan out. I do know though, that it is going to be AMAZING! Stay tuned for updates :)
